Masterplast was established in 1997 in Hungary. Today the company is one of the leading stock exchange listed business service providers focusing on insulation materials and solutions in the Central- Eastern-European region. Its revenue was more than 83.836 million Euros in 2015.
Today Masterplast has manufacturing sites in 3 countries: Hungary ( Masterplast Kft, Masterfoam Ltd. and Masterprofil Ltd.), Romania (Masterplast Romania s.r.l.),Serbia (Masterplast YU d.o.o.), and through the international export partners is present as a wholesaler with its own products in whole Europe, in North America and North Africa.
The rapid growth of Masterplast is due to the complex development package offered in the fields of heat-, sound- and water insulation materials, roofing and dry construction. The company provides its clients with value-added services: customisation, private label, delivery services, consulting, training, etc.
Masterplast has started its business activity with 5 colleagues in 1997 in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, focusing on the trading of building materials. The first commercial year resulted 160,000 Euro income, which has given the chance for further developments. As a result of the continuous and dynamic growth of the following years, by the year 2000 Masterplast became a market leader in the field of building material trading in Hungary.
After that Masterplast progressively appeared on the international markets too: the company opened its 1st subsidiary in Slovakia in 2000, by 2002 we could talk about a company group with 4 foreign subsidiaries. After a notable investment in the production segment, the year 2005 brought a significant growth in activities, with the start of a manufacturing site at Masterprofil Ltd and Masterfoam Ltd. The group closed year 2007 as an important regional market player with revenues approaching 100 million Euros. Nowadays the company has its own subsidiaries in 10 countries and it employs more than 650 people.
