MASTERNET PREMIUM AND MASTERNET FIBERGLASS MESH TYPES FOR ETICS SYSTEMS


In the external thermal insulation systems (ETICS) the fiberglass mesh layer reinforces the base coat of the thermal insulation. Fiberglass mesh improves the mechanical resistance of the surface and reduces the risk of cracks. Only fiberglass mesh types certified according to EAD 040016-00-0404 / ETAG 004 regulations can be applied in ETICS systems.




Before embedding the fiberglass mesh, cover the surface with a base coat layer by using a notched trowel.Embed the fiberglass mesh into the base coat with an overlap of 10 cm.Cover the embedded fiberglass mesh by a second layer of base coat. Thickness of the base coat applied on the top of the mesh should be at least 1 mm.

MASTERNET FIBERGLASS MESH TYPES FOR INDOOR PLASTERING


It is worth to strengthen the 5-6mm thick plastering layer of the old, cracked indoor renders by an indoor fiberglass mesh type. The surface gets stronger, longer-lasting and reduces the risk of cracking.


Install the fiberglass mesh into the middle of the plaster. Thickness of the plaster applied on the top of the mesh should be at least 1 mm.

For the renovation of old, low quality walls where the thickness of the plaster is uneven the plastering mesh reduces the risk of cracks, thus strengthens the plaster.

Embed the fiberglass mesh into the first layer of the plaster.Install the plastering mesh also with an overlap of 10 cm.Cover the fiberglass mesh by a second layer of plaster, the mesh must be installed into the middle of the plaster.
