Non-woven, heat-bound PP veil. A protecting, separating, filtering layer similar to geotextiles, but having a greater solidity and smaller expansion capacity. Not damaged by natural acids and alkalis. Root-resistant, resists bacteria. Along with filtering fine particles it has a stabilizing effect as well, and is capable to counterbalance significant lateral forces.
Application:
When laid on top of the heat insulation of terrace roofs, and reverse layer-order, loaded deck roofs, it prevents fine gravel particles from getting in between the XPS heat insulation plates, protects the heat insulation plates or water exclusion plates underneath it from mechanical effects. When installed in green roofs, it prevents humus from washing into the draining (or water retaining) e.g. TERRA PLAST PLUS 20-P, layer or provides root protection. As part of drain systems around buildings and other deep construction works it is used as a filter similarly to geotextiles, preventing the fine soil particles carried by the rainwater or ground water into the crude gravel or rubble layer from washing in. With its application, the amount of draining gravel may be decreased, while the efficiency and lifespan of the drain may be increased (it does not get blocked up). Beside the above filtering function, under small-element pavements or vehicle driveways it prevents the plants from getting through from the subsoil, the gravel of the pavement from piercing the soil and thus its sinking, and the different adjacent beds from mixing. During horticultural use humus surrounded by TYPAR geotextile does not wash and mix with the surrounding worse-quality soils. The quality of the soil of introduced plants can be further maintained, prevents erosion.
Rules of installation:
Before laying the TYPAR, all dirt from the soil must be removed that could result in the piercing of the material. TYPAR can be tailored with scissors or a knife.
