As a result of a dynamic development and expansion Masterplast – a company founded in 1997 in Hungary – has became today’s leading building material manufacturer and distributor. Masterplast group is present in 12 countries and has over 700 employees. Its revenue in 2010 was 85,2 million EUR. Masterplast’s business philosophy focuses on continuous improvement, customer driven approach and carefully established partnerships.
Masterplast offers more than 1000 products with ISO and TÜV qualification in six product groups.

From the beginning beside the construction material wholesale the company was involved in building material production in the frame of joint-venture agreements. In the interest of continuous and uniform level of service the company has started its production activity in 2004 in Kál, Heves county. Among the most important products are the various Masterprofil plaster profiles and Thermomaster corner bead profile with mesh, the Aquawell bituminous corrugated sheets prepared with the cooperation of Asbo Roof Industries and the Isofoam extruded polyethylene products. In addition in 2008 we have started in a frame of a greenfield investment the production of Isomaster EPS in a new factory unit in Serbia, Subotica. The company group has a professional sales system and pays particular attention to the continuous orientation and training of its colleagues, constructors and partners. By developing the products into systems, Masterplast aims to provide value-added services to its partners. The continuous monitoring of the own produced and distributed product’s quality is priority to the company. In order to be able to do that the engineers perform the mechanical tests in a well-equipped lab.
Masterplast is committed to social responsibility, with the involvement of its staff the company has been collecting donations for various purposes. Its also mindful of the issue of sustainable development and trys to moderate the environmental strain by selective waste collection and by transforming the vehicle and equipment fleet in environment conscious ways.
In recent years Masterplast has achieved outstanding results in the domestic and Central European construction material industry.
In search of new challenges, this year the company group focuses on further expanding and developing its production while its strategic business objective is to form an enterprise which complies with the stock exchange requirements. As of 20th April 2011. Masterplast Group cPlc. operates as Masterplast Plc. The change is part of the company’s medium-term strategy.
