MASTERBIT LF solvent free bituminous coating

Material flexible, liquid bitumen mass with additives, with high heat- and UV-resistance.

Fields of application
 • for maintenance and refurbishment of bituminous roofs without dilution. It increases the life span and the watertightness of the material coated. Coverage: 0.8 –1.2 litre/m2/layer.
• as a temporary water-repellent coating of pitched flat roofs. Coverage: 0.8 – 1.2 litres/m2/layer (after priming). Applied in just one layer, it significantly increases the draining capacity of the
pitched concrete surface.
• diluted with tap water (in proportion 1:2), it can be used as a primer. Coverage: 0.2 – 0.3 litres/m2.
Application Drying time is (approximately) 2– 6 hours as a primer, 6 –12 hours as a coating (depending on the humidity of the underground and on the weather conditions).
Applying is by brush or roller.
Ambient and product temperature must be:
horizontally: between (+) 5 – (+) 35 °C
vertically: between (+) 5 – (+) 30 °C
Storage under dry conditions, protected against atmospheric exposure, especially sun-radiation and other heat sources In case of the prescribed storage and handling conditions, the expiry date of the product is 6 month after production

MASTERBIT 1K bituminous waterproof coating

Material one component plastic bitumen mass with polystyrene additive and high bonding ability.

Fields of application • as damp proof (for primed base surface): applied in two layers with wet thickness of ~4.5 – 5.5 mm (after drying: ~3.1– 4.0mm) with additional mechanical protection. Coverage: 4.4 – 5.5 litres/m2.
• for fixing of XPS boards: bonding of the XPS boards onto the bitumen sheet of cellar or basement wall. Coverage: 2 litres/m2.
• for repairing of defects and around penetrations of damp proofing.
Application Drying time is (approximately) 1– 2 days / layer. Applying is by trowel. Ambient and product temperature must be between (+) 5 – (+) 35 °C.
